Public repositories. Paste the address of a .md file, a folder or a repository (its README is used). Pictures the file uses are fetched too.

Questions and answers
Is my PDF sent to an AI or a third party?
Not by default. The PDF's text layer is read on this server with fixed rules, without any AI model. Only with “Enhanced recognition” is the file sent to SoMark.
Are colors and fonts kept?
They are written in this site's Markdown extensions, such as [text]{color=red}, and come back when you convert to PDF and Word.
Can I convert a scanned PDF?
Yes, with “Enhanced recognition”: the PDF (its first 60 pages at most) is sent to SoMark's free recognition service, which also reads equations and complex tables better. Don't use it for sensitive files.
Can Word files become Markdown too?
Yes. Upload a .docx or .tex and choose “Markdown” as the output.
